Steven J. Tepper

Steven is associate professor of sociology and associate director of the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise and Public Policy at Vanderbilt University.  He is author of the recent book, Not Here, Not Now, Not That! Protest Over Art and Culture in America (Chicago, 2011).  His research and teaching focuses on cultural conflict, creative education and work, and cultural consumption.
