Samuel A. Greene


Samuel A. Greene is Reader in Russian Politics and Director of the Russia Institute at King’s College London. His book, Moscow in Movement: Power and Opposition in Putin’s Russia (Stanford University Press, 2014), traces the development of social movements and political protest in Russia from 1999-2013. Together with Graeme B. Robertson (University of North Carolina), he is working on a new book, exploring the pathways of authoritarian contestation in Russia after the annexation of Crimea. He blogs at Moscow-on-Thames.
