Rachel L. Einwohner is Associate Professor of Sociology at Purdue University. She is interested in movement outcomes, identity and social movements, and mobilization under repressive conditions. Her published articles have appeared in Mobilization, Social Problems, and the American Journal of Sociology, among other outlets, and she is the co-editor (with Jo Reger and Daniel J. Myers) of Identity Work in Social Movements (University of Minnesota Press, 2008). She was also recently inducted into Purdue’s Book of Great Teachers.
