Peter B. Owens

Owens, PeterPeter is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the University of California, Irvine. His areas of interest include social movements, collective violence, culture, historical sociology, and formal qualitative methods. His dissertation research explores the social organization of anti-indigenous violence in California during the mid-19th century. His published work has appeared in the Annual Review of Sociology, Mobilization, and Social Science History.
