Pat & Sandy make up the Washington DC-based, award-winning activist duo, Emma’s Revolution. Their songs have been sung for the Dalai Lama, praised by Pete Seeger, and covered by Holly Near. In addition to Pat’s solo CDs, Emma’s Revolution has released three duo CDs and recorded two CDs with Holly Near. Pat’s songs, including “Keep on Moving Forward” and “Swimming to the Other Side,” have been an integral part of justice movements for 30 years. The duo’s song, “If I Give Your Name” won Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and “Peace, Salaam, Shalom” is used as an anthem for peace around the world. Emma’s Revolution’s music has been featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and Pacifica’s “Democracy Now!”
