Dannie is Vice-President (Society and Citizenship) at the National Union of Students UK and has responsibility for NUS’ wider campaigns work on issues affecting wider UK society as well as promoting peace, justice and equality around the world.
In April 2012, NUS National Conference elected Dannie to serve a second term.
She is a graduate from Liverpool University where she served two years as the Student President. She is also an active member of a range of campaigning organisations including London Citizens and Action for Southern Africa (the UK successor to the Anti-Apartheid Movement).
