Currently, Chris is engaged with three major projects. First, his dissertationinvestigates the organization and application of political repression during Guatemala’s civil war. Second, he is working on a series of papers evaluating the micro-level effects of human rights violations in Detroit. Third, he is involved with the Northern Ireland Research Initiative, a collaborative project to record and analyze Troubles related violence in Northern Ireland. Mr. Sullivan’s research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Social Science Research Council and the Kellogg Institute for International Affairs.
Chris holds an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, a M.S. in Political Science from Vrije Universieit Amsterdam and a B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University.
