Chandra Russo

chandra.jpgChandra Russo is Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Sociology and Anthropology Department at Colgate University. She studies US-based grassroots activism for peace, racial justice, and transnational solidarity. Her current research is a comparative ethnography of three activist communities, broadly from the Christian Left, that seek to imagine and enact solidarity with the targets of US National Security Policy. She earned her PhD from the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara in Spring 2016.
