Bryant Crubaugh

CrubaughBryant Crubaugh is a fourth year graduate student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Notre Dame and an assistant editor at Mobilizing Ideas. His primary research analyzes both the mobilization and outcomes of civic associations. His thesis analyzed where neighborhood associations located in major U.S. cities to argue that they were most likely in neighborhoods with a combination of high incentives and high capacity, leaving the most needing—those with high incentives, but low capacity—unserved by these associations’ resources. Bryant also is involved with Kraig Beyerlein and fellow graduate students’ work on protest events and works with Rory McVeigh as a Senior Assistant Editor of Mobilization.
